Liberty Ledger
Liberty Ledger is a coin collection tracker for iOS. This policy explains what information the app handles, how it is used, and your rights. The short version: the app stores your data on your device and in your personal iCloud account. We do not collect, sell, or share your personal information.
Liberty Ledger does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, location, payment details, device identifiers, or usage analytics. No advertising or tracking SDKs are included in the app.
All coin collection data you enter — varieties, grades, purchase prices, notes, and wishlist items — is stored locally on your device using Apple's SwiftData framework. This data never passes through our servers.
If you are signed into iCloud on your device and have iCloud Drive enabled, your collection data syncs automatically to your personal iCloud account via Apple CloudKit. This sync occurs entirely within Apple's infrastructure and under your Apple ID. Liberty Ledger has no access to your iCloud data. The app fetches the current silver spot price from the Yahoo Finance public market data API to calculate the melt value of silver coins in your collection. This request contains no personal information — it is equivalent to looking up a stock quote. Yahoo Finance's privacy practices are governed by Yahoo's Privacy Policy.
If you contact us at support@libertyledger.dev, we receive the contents of your message and your email address. We use this information only to respond to your inquiry and do not store it beyond what is necessary to resolve your issue.
The full version of Liberty Ledger is available as a one-time in-app purchase managed entirely by Apple. We do not process or store any payment information. For details on how Apple handles purchase data, see Apple's Privacy Policy.
Liberty Ledger does not knowingly collect any information from anyone. Because we collect no personal data, the app is suitable for users of all ages.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy at this URL. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
